Father's Day Key Holder - You are our Hero!

In this Father's Day, we made a special key holder for Daddy.

We used glass decoration colors to decorate one side of the plastic key holder.

First, we wrote 'You are our Hero!' inside the key holder. We wrote the mirror image of the words.

After letting the words dry completely, we decorated the background.

We used rainbow colors as background. This is my son's favorite when doing crafts.

I think we had put the color too thick. The blue and purple colors are too dark that we hardly see the word 'Hero'.

On the other side of the plastic key holder, we printed and put a small family photo.

That looks so great. Daddy loves it so much!

Why we use the words 'You are our Hero!'? Because we watched the movie 'The Avengers' recently. lol

We have also baked a cake with the same theme. Will post it later.

How to Decorate / Draw Wood Door Hanger?

In the last Father's Day, my son and I made a special gift to Daddy.

That was a wood door hanger with words of love.

I should share this earlier, but I am busy looking after my son who is on summer holiday.

I am a mom, who does not want to miss any minute to get along with my son. Soon, he will leave me and play with his friends only.


My son and I discussed on what to write on the door hanger first.

I suggested that one side can write, 'Keep Quiet! Daddy is sleeping! Shhh...'

He agreed. In fact, this was for reminding my son not to disturb Daddy when he wants to have a sleep in the bedroom, lol!

8 Meaningful Father's Day Cards / Quotes

I think that making something by children that is memorable is better than just buying a gift to Daddy.

Last year, my son and I drew a Father's Day card. This year, we plan to draw something onto a wood door hanger.

On it, we plan to write something like 'I love Daddy!' on one side, and 'Shhh... Daddy is sleeping' on the other side.

We have not started to draw cos my son is still having examinations at school. It will be ended soon. After that, we will start to make it. Guess Daddy must like this!

No. 6 Daddy's face sandwich

 

 

I found these sandwiches. They are so pretty and funny.

 

I just think, you can observe the shape of your daddy's face, his eyes size, color of hair....,

 

and then make one sandwich for him accordingly.

 

He must like it! Maybe you can ask your daddy to take a photo with the sandwich, so funny!

No. 1 A shirt card

 

I like the buttons most. I think you can observe which tie and what color of the shirt that your daddy like most, and then make one according to them. Your daddy must like that!

Father's Day Printable Coloring Card

My husband's birthday is coming and Father's Day is also coming.

My son and I are busy thinking what to make for him.

We had decided how to make a birthday card for him. We will make it when there is time.

For the Father's Day, I want to design a card or do some craft that is special.

It is quite boring just making shirt and tie card or crafts every year.

This morning, I know what I should do. : )


I draw a card by myself!

I try to draw the face of my husband.

He wears glasses, with dimples, small eyes, thin hair....

That looks like him, haha!

I think daddies would like to receive something that is especially for him, rather just shirt and tie.

Below is my card. I will let my son do the coloring.
