I feel so surprised and happy when I know that I was nominated for the Sunshine Award!

Thank you, Ms Emma (http://pisforpreschooler.weebly.com/1/post/2013/10/the-sunshine-award.html).

The Sunshine Award is given to other “bloggers who positively and creatively inspire others in the blogosphere”.

Truly thanks to Emma for nominating my blog to this award.

  • Share 11 random facts about yourself.

  • List 11 bloggers.  They should be bloggers you believe deserve some recognition and a little blogging love! (See below for my list)

*******************************************************************************

First, I have to share 11 random facts about myself. Here they are:

1. I live in Hong Kong. An international city that may be far away from your home. If I fly to US by plane, it will take more than 20 hours.

2. I have a 7 year-old son.

3. I like drawing, arts and crafts very much. I also like handmade jewelry.

4. I am a housewife. One of my responsibilities is to teach my son homeworks. My son usually has 5 homework to do everyday. This takes him about 1 hour to finish. He is lucky to study in an international school. If studying in traditional school, the quantity of homework will be double or more.

5. Everyweek, I take my son to join some extra-curriculum activities after school. They include: playing piano, swimming and playing table tennis. Here in Hong Kong, parents like to take children to learn many things after school. According to a recent survey, about 30% of parents even take their children to learn 11 things after school every week. That is crazy!

6. I have to review school textbooks with my son from time to time because his school has two tests and two examinations every year.

7. My husband and I will take my son to have hiking, swimming and playing ball games if the weather is good. If the weather is poor, we will stay at home and do some crafts. My son likes all kinds of crafts, e.g. carton box crafts, drawing, make stamps, etc.

8. I am lucky to live in a place where I can access different kinds of arts supplies in low cost. Thus, my son and I can always buy some and do some crafts when we have leisure time.

9. I like to read blogs related to kids, crafts, and handmade jewelry or items.

10. I want to travel to US and Canada. But I have to save a lot of money as they are very far away from me and requires a lot of money to go there.

11. Besides blogging, I like to surf the Facebook. I like to read beautiful photos of nature and funny photos of kids. ^^

Now I know Mandarin and English. I want to learn French because my son is learning that but I could not help him on revision, lol!
